Price includes two nights lodging, six meals, and conference registration. SPACE IS LIMITED! A $50 per person direct deposit will be due with each reservation (credit card or check ONLY). All balances due by Friday, April 2, 2027.

CANCELLATION & CHECK-IN

Cancellation Policy
After 2/26/27, forfeit $50 per person.
After 4/2/27, forfeit $150 per person.
After 4/16/27, forfeit FULL registration.

Check-In
Check-in begins at 3PM on Monday, April 26. The conference begins at 4PM that day and concludes with Lunch at 11:30AM the following Wednesday.

As a Worship Pastor and Senior Adult minister, I look for places where I can take a group of my own church people. I have been to all kinds of events. Jeff Cleghorn’s Senior Adult Homecoming has the best atmosphere. The size of the crowd gives it a more intimate feeling. Groups can intermingle and get to know each other. The quality of the speakers is equal to or better than the larger events. Add the benefit of on-site top quality meals included in the price, and it is a “no brainer.” The time spent at a Homecoming is more of a refreshing revival than just mere Christian entertainment.
Our church senior adult group attended Senior Adult Homecoming on Saint Simons Island, and we were blown away! The accommodations were very nice and the food was great, but nothing compares to the entertainment, games, door prizes, and wonderful times of worship. If you want an unforgettable three-day getaway, head to Senior Adult Homecoming. Our group, plus a few more, will be there. Thank you, Jeff, for all the love and laughter you put into our lives those three days.
When you come to the Senior Adult Homecoming, you will leave with anticipation of when the next event will be held. The accommodations are great, meals are very good, and now the best—the outstanding preaching, hymn sing, well-known singers, comedians and motivational entertainment, and door prizes. Of course, Jeff's musical talents are so uplifting, and bingo and the break-out sessions are fun, too. Christ is the center of every event. All on beautiful Saint Simons Island, GA.

Senior Adult Homecoming at Saint Simons (on the BEAUTIFUL campus at Epworth by the Sea) was AWESOME! Great music performances by Jeff Cleghorn, lots of fun activities and workshops, and delicious food. Everyone should attend!
Our senior adults have been blessed to participate in the ministry of Jeff Cleghorn over the past years. Last year was our best experience so far, as we gathered at Epworth By The Sea on Saint Simon's Island. It was held in a beautiful setting and a Jeff gave us a powerful worship experience. We will see you at the next retreat!
Attending a Homecoming is a wonderful way for senior adults to experience a time that allows them to fellowship with friends and experience the joy of corporate worship that is filled with the hymns and Gospel songs they love. The venue is on flat land and easy to maneuver. The food service is excellent with large dining rooms on site so there is no struggle with parking or worry about where to eat. The preachers are some of the best anywhere.
We really look forward to these retreats where we always meet a lot of new friends. The preaching and singing are always amazing, and the food and staff are always wonderful. We are looking forward to the next one. There are so few places that Seniors can gather with other Christians. Please keep doing these retreats!
The Senior Adult Homecomings are always fabulous! From the quality Bible teaching and Jeff's amazing piano playing and hymn-singing sessions, to the small group choices and special nightly entertainment, there is never a dull moment. I've enjoyed meeting new friends and always leave feeling refreshed, recharged, and ready to jump back into activity at my home church. I highly recommend it!!

Who attends Senior Adult Homecoming?
  • Senior Adults (55+ or willing to call yourself a Senior Adult and be proud about it!) from across the southeastern United States come to this three-day, two night event. The truth is that we do not check ID at the door, so if you are not quite 55, you are still welcome to join us!
  • Men, women, couples, singles, pastors, and Senior Adult ministers all come to enjoy Senior Adult Homecoming

Epworth By The Sea is located on Saint Simons Island, Georgia, halfway between Savannah, Georgia and Jacksonville, Florida. The physical address is 100 Arthur J. Moore Drive; Saint Simons Island, GA 31522.

Nestled under live oak trees teeming with Spanish moss along the Frederica River, the conference facility is owned and operated by the South Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church.

Senior Adult Homecoming is operated as an outreach of Cleghorn Music Ministries, Inc., and is not directly connected to Epworth By The Sea or the United Methodist Church.

The variety of activities changes from retreat to retreat; however, we often enjoy:

Rooming is much like you would find in a comfortable hotel. All rooms include a private bathroom, television, mini-fridge, and either two Queen beds or one King bed.

All rooms in the Turner Lodge have a riverfront balcony with spectacular views of the Frederica River

The dining hall and main conference room is centrally located. The four hotel buildings are an easy 5-7 minute walk on flat terrain. The Turner Lodge is the farthest away. Parking at the main conference room is very limited, so walking will be necessary. Nothing is overly strenuous.

YES! Commuter rates are available for those who want to come for the conference and six meals but not spend the night at the conference center. Ask Jeff when you make reservations about the special rates.

Unfortunately, we do not have the seating capacity to open the concerts to the public. We only admit those participating in the retreat. Neither are we are not set-up for individual ticket sales. But we would love for you to register and come join us for the entire event!

YES! It would be a shame for you to miss one of our corporate worship times or one of our evening entertainment/concert events.  If you want to skip the workshops and take a walk across the beautiful campus—do it! If you want to go to the village on the island and shop—enjoy yourself!

If you want to take advantage of one of the many wonderful restaurants on the island—skip a meal at the conference and indulge yourself (sadly, we cannot offer a refund for the skipped meal). We plan activities for the entire day for those who want to participate, but it is completely your choice to enjoy them with us or to go and do your own thing. Make the conference be what you need it to be!

Our staff puts together a list of most requested topics and interests from past Senior Adult Homecoming attendees and researches great options to offer our guests. From these items, people with the skills, talents and gifting are asked to help participate in making Senior Adult Homecoming a wonderful experience for all.

Some past workshop leaders have included: pastors, senior adult leaders, security personnel, finance professionals, inspirational speakers, instructional coaches, talented artists, church volunteers, and others who are dedicated to impacting the lives of senior adults.

Hardcopy programs are given to each participant at check-in, and a simple schedule is also on the back of your name tag.

During the event, the conference staff will update you of any changes or highlighted events and they will be on-hand to answer all of your questions!

We do not necessarily build free time into the schedule because many of our attendees have no desire to leave the conference center and go exploring. So, we try to make something available for you to do all day long.

However, the Golden Isles region is a beautiful part of Georgia and is certainly worth exploring. As a registered participant, you have paid for the whole conference. What parts of it you choose to attend are up to you. It would be a shame for you to miss one of our corporate worship times or one of our evening entertainment/concert events.
